WordPress Mastery training videos. However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Here are the steps I would suggest to get you started;

Step 1 – Establish an Internet Domain Name.

This is a must, as all your business is going to be conducted online you need to have some real estate on the internet that you can call yours. Your domain name will become your store front for your customers to visit and see what products or services you have to offer. Your domain name will also provide you with a web address for your website as well as provide you with your own custom yourname@yourdomain.com email address.

You’re going to have to give a lot of thought to what domain name you want. Keep in mind that selecting the wrong domain name can have severe negative impacts to your marketing efforts, especially if later on you decide that you need to change you domain name.

I recommend that you visit our domain registrar (OurLink.Net) and do some research for the domain name of your choice. Select a domain name that accentuates the type of Internet Marketing you will be doing. If your focus is on Affiliate Marketing then select  a domain like MasterAffiliateMarketer.com or AffiliateRiches.com.  Obviously, these domains are probably already taken but you should get the general idea. Select a domain name that is catchy, easy to remember, and accentuates your marketing efforts.

I also recommend that you stick with the .COM domain names as these are more familiar to your internet audience and will continue to be the most popular domains in the future.

Step 2 – Locate a Web Host Provider.

Once you have your domain name registered, the next step is to locate a web hosting partner that will host your website for you.

I recommend that you start with a Shared Hosting Provider and as your website grows, your traffic increases, and you outgrow your shared hosting account then you can upgrade to a VPS (Virtual Private Server) account. If you select the right web host provider they will assist you when the time comes to make the transition from a shared hosting account to a VPS. Again, I recommend that you hop on over to http://www.ourlink.net and signup for their shared hosting account. Step 3 – Build your website.

If you’ve mastered HTML then you may decide to build your own website from scratch. However, I highly recommend that you use a CMS (Content Management System) such as WordPress to build your website. Why you ask, because it’s the easiest way to build a functional and impressive website for your domain without any experience in HTML, PHP, CSS, or database programming.

WordPress is becoming the de facto standard in website design because of its ease of use and expandability.

One of WordPress’ major features is the number of “Plugins” that are available for this web software. Plugins provides additional features and functionality that can be added with a few clicks of the mouse from within the WordPress administration screen. And the best part, many of these great plugins are free!
